Field of (My) Dreams!

I always dreamt of having the use of a private, secure field for some of my dog walks as the freedom it gives them to run around and play or walk and sniff without being bothered by (or bothering!) members of the public or other dogs – is just so amazing!  It makes these walks so stress free and more enjoyable for 2 and 4 legged participants alike!

For over two years now,  on Mondays and Thursdays I’ve been lucky to be able to offer outdoor doggy daycare in a private, secure field in Rathmichael – which is very rural and overlooks Killiney Hill and the sea!   It really is beautiful there.

We usually start with a few laps of the field to get the dogs moving – and then they do their own thing for a while – some like to chase, some like to explore, some like to sniff,  some like to play ball and some like to follow me!  I always do a sniffari or two during the two hours – hiding treats in the long grass and they love to search for them (and enjoy their reward, of course!).    There are drinking stations dotted around the field so they can quench their thirst.
